25 December 2024: The Ethiopian Human Rights Council (EHRCO), was suspended by the Civil Society Organizations Authority on allegations of operating beyond its mission and lacking accountability during the 2023 budget year. The organisation has been operating in Ethiopia for 33 years. Source: AAA

25 December 2024: In El Fasher city, North Darfur state, the delivery room, caesarean section room, the pharmacy and the children's malnutrition ward of the MSF-supported Saudi Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital was hit by RSF heavy artillery. 04 January 2025: In El Fasher city, North Darfur state, the MSF-supported Saudi Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital was hit by RSF shelling, killing two people and injuring two health workers. This is the 14th time the facility has been attacked since the conflict began. Amid the bombardments surrounding the hospital, an image made the rounds on social media of doctors performing a caesarean section using mobile phone torchlights as explosions continued near the facility. 02 January 2025: In Chaung Gyi village and village tract, Thabeikkyin township and district, Mandalay region, an LNGO office and five vehicles owned by the LNGO, 23 homes, a fire brigade office, and a public building were damaged by bombs dropped by the Myanmar military fighter jets. Two people were killed and at least 20, including two LNGO workers, were injured in the attack. The LNGO offered ambulance services and blood donation services. 25 December 2024: In Gaza Strip, six out of 12 UN requests for coordinated humanitarian movements were denied outright. 03 January 2025: In Jabalia Refugee Camp, North Gaza governorate, 96 patients and medical staff at the NGO-ran Al-Awda Hospital were threatened by Israeli forces that the facility would be bombed if it were not evacuated immediately. Israeli forces drones also fired flare bombs at the hospital’s reception and emergency section, injuring several staff. The hospital yard and gates were also shelled at around the same time.
