REPORTING PERIOD: 1 ST FEBRUARY 2024 – 29TH FEBRUARY 2024

  • The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control & Preventions (NCDC) continues to monitor reports of yellow fever cases in Nigeria.

  • A total of 110 suspected cases were reported from 70 Local Government Areas (LGAs) across 25 states. The states include: Adamawa (8), Anambra (10), Bauchi (16), Bayelsa (1), Benue (4), Cross River (2), Delta (8), Ebonyi (2), Edo (4), Ekiti (3), Enugu (5), Gombe (4), Imo (3), Kogi (1), Kwara (2),
    Lagos (3), Nasarawa (1), Niger (2), Ogun (9), Ondo (4), Osun (4), Oyo (6), Plateau (2), Taraba (3) and Yobe (3).

  • No presumptive positive cases were reported for the month of February 2024.

  • Three (3) Inconclusive cases were recorded within the reporting month; from the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu (UNTH) and Central Public Health Laboratory, Lagos. These cases were from: Anambra (2) and Osun (1).

  • There was no confirmed cases from Institut Pasteur (IP) Dakar.

  • No death was recorded among suspected and confirmed cases in the reporting month.
