REPORTING PERIOD: 1ST APRIL 2024 – 30TH APRIL 2024
- The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control & Preventions (NCDC) continues to monitor reports of yellow fever cases in Nigeria.
- A total of 135 suspected cases were reported from 98 Local Government Areas (LGAs) across 27 states. The states include Abia (1), Adamawa (2), Anambra (21), Bauchi (5), Bayelsa (1), Benue (6), Borno (9), Cross River (2), Delta (3), Ebonyi (2), Edo (2), Ekiti (10), Enugu (10), FCT Abuja (1), Imo (1), Katsina (1), Kogi (6), Kwara (5), Lagos (2), Nasarawa (4), Niger (6), Ogun (6), Ondo (5), Osun (4), Oyo (5), Plateau (7), Rivers (2), Taraba (2) and Yobe (4).
- One (1) Presumptive positive case was recorded from the Central Public Health Laboratory (CPHL) Lagos [1]. This case was reported from: Ekiti (1)
- No confirmed case has been recorded within the period under review
- No death was recorded among suspected and confirmed cases in the reporting month.
