Overview

Between 1st January and 25th November 2025, the Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) was activated in 16 local government areas (LGAs) across Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe States. Six rapid needs assessments were conducted to identify urgent needs, with responses mainly targeting flooding and cholera outbreaks—the most frequently reported shocks during the period. A total of 151,051 individuals, mostly in host communities, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in camps, received assistance from 15 RRM partners. The rapid response inter-ventions were mainly on WASH, Shelter/NFI, Nutrition, Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) and other interventions, with women and girls making up approximately 57.5 percent of people reached.
