Nutrition Sector Strategic Reflection Workshop

The Nutrition Sector in collaboration with UNICEF and ACF organized a 3-day strategic reflection workshop in December 2024. The objectives of the workshop were;

1. Cluster Coordination Performance Monitoring (CCPM): Conduct an action planning exercise with partners to identify and agree on best practices, constraints and corrective actions against the 6-core Cluster functions and accountability to affected people (AAP).

2. Northeast Nigeria IPC Acute Malnutrition (May 2024 – Apr 2025): Disseminate the IPC for Acute Malnutrition (IPC AMN) and Cadre Harmonise (CH) reports to inform 2025 prioritization, and Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan (HNRP).

3. 2025 Multi-Risk Nutrition Emergency Response Preparedness (ERP) Plan: Develop the 2025 Multi-Risk Nutrition ERP Plan to ensure a timelier rollout of preparedness and anticipatory actions, and an efficient and effective lean season response.

4. 2024/ 2025 Sector Workplan: Review the 2024 Sector workplan and build consensus on priorities for 2025.

5. Borno Post-Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA): Support Borno State Government (BSG) to develop a post flood recovery and resilience programme that will mitigate the vulnerability and impact of future flooding disasters.
