SITUATION OVERVIEW

The ongoing humanitarian crisis in northeast Nigeria continues to be one of the most severe and complex globally. The efforts of humanitarian partners to reach the population in need have been significantly hampered due to inadequate funding, persistent security threats, and restrictions on movement.
Out of the 6.0 million targeted individuals, only 2.1 million have been reached. Despite efforts by 120 partners, the funding received stands at 214 million out of the required 1.3 billion. The situation necessitates increased funding and strategic interventions to meet the needs of those in severe conditions, particularly in hard-to-reach areas.
