The Nigeria Inter-Agency RRRP will address three target groups: Nigerian refugees in the three asylum countries; returning Niger nationals displaced by conflict; and host communities in the three countries.

Refugee protection within the context of the Nigeria situation will have a particular focus on child protection activities and responding to cases of violence, abuse and exploitation including SGBV and child and youth association with armed groups.

Local authorities, UNHCR and partners will focus on maintaining the civil character of asylum both in and outside of camps.

The RRRP was drafted through a participatory planning process coordinated and led by UNHCR. It is the product of the combined efforts of Governments, UN agencies, other IGOs, international and national NGOs and refugee communities.
