OVERVIEW
The 2024 Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) for Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states is seeking US$926.5 million to respond to the critical needs of 4.4 million people out of 8.1 million people in need of life-saving humanitarian assistance. To date, generous donors have provided $194.4 million, which represents 21.0 per cent of the total requirement. In addition, some organizations including the UN, NGO and Red Cross Movement, have received $13.2 million outside the HRP. The nutrition and food security sectors are the highest funded sectors so far.
