HIGHLIGHTS
An estimated 2,771 cholera cases have been reported in Nigeria this year, five times higher than cases reported this time last year.
An estimated 1,188 civilians, insurgents and military personnel reportedly killed in some 45 Boko Haram-related attacks since the state of emergency was declared in May 2013.
The State of Emergency has been extended in Nigeria by six months, through May 2014.
