Introduction
The 2025 Annual Report of the Disability Working Group (DWG) is a collective effort to advance disability inclusion
across humanitarian and development responses in the Northeast, Northcentral, and Northwest of Nigeria,
covering Adamawa, Borno, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Plateau, Yobe, Zamfara and Benue states.
With the support of over 100 partners and stakeholders across the regions, there is a transition from general
awareness to high-impact, multi-sectoral delivery, reaching over 15,000 direct beneficiaries with specialized
services.
Through strengthened coordination, capacity building, advocacy, and donor engagement, DWG partners advanced
a rights-based and results-driven approach to inclusive programming. This report presents key achievements,
partner contributions, challenges, and strategic recommendations to guide continued progress in disability inclusion.
