Niger food crisis under investigation by Food for the Hungry's emergency response team

PHOENIX, AZ, July 28, 2005 -- There is a growing food crisis in the Niger regions of Africa and Food for the Hungry is on the ground to investigate. We have been assessing the food needs of this area and have determined the best way to meet their immediate needs is to work with trustworthy and experienced local partners, who will be selected over the next week. We will channel any contributions toward the Niger emergency response to these reputable organizations.
