  • US$142 million needed over 12 months to help 408,365 vulnerable people in need of assistance

Conflict in the Lac Chad Basin region has left 408 365 people in desperate need of emergency assistance (food, access to clean water and sanitation, health, education, protection). Women and girls are in real danger of experiencing conflict-related sexual violence.

408 365 people are at high risk of a severe food crisis. Over 60,000 people suffer from severe acute malnourishment. On top of this, an outbreak of Hepatitis E is continuing to spread.
