  • Received from different sources that the death figure crossed 00 and casualties more than 8000 received

  • Working figure of MoHP remains at 5000 dead with 50,000 casualties although this most likely will be changed tomorrow

  • 35 - 45 districts out of 75 districts are affected.

  • 11 districts are priority for health intervention ie Gorkha, Dhading, Raswa,Sindupalchowk, Kavre, Nuwakot, Dolkha, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktpur, Ramechhap.

  • Regular CNDRC me eting called by MOHA to review the response coordination.

  • Regular cluster meeting chaired by Joint Secretaries, MOHA at MOHA

  • Medical teams from India, China, UK, USA, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Israel, Singapore, Qatar, Malaysia, Russia and Japan have already c ontact MoHP for deployment in response. Currently, Indian Army medical team have been deployed to Lalitpur and one near the airpiort. Bangladesh Team is deployed to Kohkana, Lalitpur. Kollen Rescue and Medical Team to Melamchi, Sindhupalchowk district. IMC team deployed in Gorkha and Dhading districts. Turkey RC Doctors Worldwide deployed to epicenter, Gorkha districts. Qatar RC: in Nuwakot. Bhutanl in Trisuli. UK Medical Team will be deployed to Sindhupalchowk. NRCS/IFRC in Kirtipur

  • MoHP request that further medical teams coming to Nepal be on standby as FMTs continue to be deployed

  • Command post has been setup under the lead of Home Secretary with secretaries from other ministries
