Nepal UNDAF process begins
The United Nations Country Team (UNCT) in Nepal has begun the process of formulating the next United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) for Nepal.
Based on an agreement reached during the UNCT annual retreat in February 2011, a Road Map to prepare the UNDAF was developed.
To start off, the UNCT adopted an innovative methodology to prepare the country analysis, emphasizing a human rights based approach. The country analysis is the background document needed to ultimately design the actual UNDAF.
