Process of Relief Distribution (Embassy of Nepal, New Delhi)

  • All relief materials provided will be taken to two entry points i.e. Raxaul And Sunauli.

  • The concerned District Magistrate in India or the Chief District Officers in Nepal will receive all the relief materials and will as per the instruction of the central government of Nepal, it will dispatch the relief materials to those locations and affected areas that urgently require the assistance.

  • In order to facilitate the Distribution of relief materials, new instruction of the Government of Nepal has made a provision that all the organizations, individuals who want to send to specific locations or specific beneficiaries, will have to have the concerned District Magistrate or the Chief District Officer of that location to send a recommendation letter to the Embassy of Nepal, New Delhi, recommending the organization for the distribution of the relief materials.

The Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi is thankful for your generous assistance and support in providing the relief materials to the victims of Earthquake that struck in Nepal on April 25, 2015. The Embassy of Nepal, New Delhi has opened a Relief fund which is accepting funds in the form of both cash and cheque.

The Embassy would further like to notify that in the process of relief and rehabilitation, following are presently required as relief materials.

  1. Tarpaulins
  2. Mats, Mattresses and Bed sheets
  3. Baby food (e.g. milk power)
  4. Dry rations
  5. Water purifiers and Sanitation kits
  6. Ventilators and medical equipment.
