-- The Nepali government is always ready to resolve anti-government
guerrillas crisis through dialogue, an official said Friday.
"The government knows the guerrillas'
problem has to be ultimately resolved through negotiations," Vice-Chairman
of the Nepali Council of Ministers Kirti Nidhi Bista said when speaking
to the members of the Citizens' Peace Commission at his residence.
The government will encourage those who are taking the proposal of talks with the guerrillas, Bista noted.
Bista also called upon the civic society to extend all possible help for the purpose.
Stating that there is no alternative to democracy Bista said, " There should be no suspicion of the king's intention to hand over power to elected people representatives."
