- In recent days, heavy rain and thunderstorms have impacted parts of Nepal, causing casualties and damage.
- According to the Nepal Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Portal, between 9 and 10 April, nearly ten people lost their lives and 12 others were injured due to thunderstorms across eight districts in the provinces of Sudurpashchim, Madhesh, Koshi, and Lumbini.
- Over the next 24 hours, moderate to locally heavy rainfall is expected across most parts of Nepal, except in the southwestern regions of the country.
