  • The Ministry of Health and Population has requested to send recommendations for various grants. Writing to the departments, institutions, and hospitals, the ministry has asked them to recommend a suitable person within seven days.

  • Recent research conducted by the Nepal Health Research Council has pointed out that strong antibiotics are used in 70 percent of patients in Nepal without any tests. It has been found that strong drugs such as Azithromycin, Amoxicillin, Cefoxitin which belong to the second group, i.e., antibiotics that can be given only after examination, are given without the patient's blood culture and sensitivity tests.
