Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) delivered essential food packages to 1,700 families living in Myanmar’s Arakan region.
TİKA remains committed to providing humanitarian aid to Muslims facing harsh conditions in Arakan. As part of this effort, food packages containing essential supplies were distributed to 1,700 Rohingya families displaced by the ongoing internal conflict and struggling to survive in refugee camps.
This support, provided during the month of Ramadan, was warmly welcomed by the local community. Expressing their gratitude for Türkiye’s assistance, Rohingya Muslims conveyed their heartfelt thanks and greetings to Türkiye through TİKA.
While TİKA continues its humanitarian aid efforts for those in need in crisis regions, it also remains committed to addressing the basic food and shelter needs of Rohingya Muslims living under challenging conditions in Myanmar.
