PSEACap Q2 Deployment Overview (as of 30 June 2025)

Attachments

In a context marked by a "profound crisis of legitimacy, morale, and funding" for the humanitarian community, the PSEACap mechanism has, more than ever before, proven its value as flexible and rapid deployment mechanism for highly-qualified PSEA Coordination Experts. At their bi-annual meeting on 17 June 2025, IASC Principals confirmed their commitment to PSEA and their determination to build on pooled resourcing models, such as the PSEACap. The IASC SEA risk overview (June 2025 update) remains a critical tool for prioritisation of PSEACap deployments as well as an indicator for their impact – PSEACaps address key drivers of SEA risk.
