  • Heavy rain have been affecting Myanmar over the past few days, triggering landslides and causing casualties.

  • According to national authorities, as of 25 June at 7.30 UTC, at least six people have been killed in the Phakant township (Mohnyin district, Kachin State) due to a landslide.

  • Over the next 24 hours, locally heavy rain could still affect the area.
