Before the earthquake, due to the funding crisis, a re-prioritization exercise had been completed focusing the response on implementing critical life-saving activities in townships in inter-sectoral severity 4 or 5 (or severity 5 for protection), and those townships with acute watery diarrhoea (AWD) cases. The earthquake response added critical life-saving support for affected people in 58 hardest hit townships, as well as essential early recovery activities. This overview shows the total target and requirement for the re-prioritization exercise, with the additional requirements for the earthquake response.
