Myanmar Earthquake: Plan International Myanmar’s Emergency Response (As of April 14th, 2025)

Attachments

As of April 14th, 2025, Plan International Myanmar's humanitarian efforts have reached 8,841 people affected by the 7.7 magnitude hashtag#earthquake.

Our interventions cover distribution of immediate relief items, supporting with Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFIs), Water sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Nutrition and Health, Food Security and Livelihoods, Early Recovery, and Child Protection.

But frequent aftershocks, heavy rains, and fire outbreaks continue to disrupt the communities in Mandalay, Sagaing, and Nay Pyi Taw.

We urgently appeal to you to contribute today to enable us to support the children, especially girls, and their families at risk.

The Time to Act is now, and together we can provide lifesaving support to those in most need!

Plan International Myanmar has been implementing life-changing humanitarian and development programmes in marginalised communities since 2012 and is well-placed to lead the disaster response. We are working urgently to get additional teams on the ground, assess needs, and stand ready to provide support."
