Some of Myanmar’s hardest-to-reach villages are being mapped through MIMU’s Pcodes initiative, started in 2007, to support humanitarian and development activities across the country. MIMU Place Codes, or Pcodes, are unique identifiers assigned to settlements across the country. They are widely adopted as a standard for managing, analysing, and sharing location-based data in Myanmar.
