Displaced people in Kachin State get Christmas presents

NAY PYI TAW, 26 Dec-A ceremony to present Christmas gifts of Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement to the displaced people in Kachin State, took place at Myothitgyi Ward, Myintkyina on 23 December, attended by Kachin State Chief Minister U La John Ngan Hsai.

The State Chief Minister, state ministers and departmental officials handed over 1600 blankets worth K 28 million, and State Hluttaw speaker and ministers, K 2,428,000 donated by Ever Winner Co Ltd.

The State Chief Minister looked into accommodation of refugees. Upon arrival at the briefing hall of main sub-power plant at Mainar village, Waingmaw Township, he heard reports on construction of power plant, installation of power grid and power distribution.

The State Chief Minister attended blessings ceremony at refugee camps in Mainar village. After that, the State Chief Minister and officials presented over K 2.5 million donated by Ever Winner Co Ltd through camp incharges.-MNA
