MYANMAR
Ongoing armed clashes in northwestern Myanmar, including reports of airstrikes, artillery shelling, and raids, continue to affect Chin, Magway, Mandalay, and Sagaing. Since 10 March, intensified fighting in Mandalay Region has reportedly displaced thousands in Madaya and Thabeikkyin townships, compounding existing humanitarian needs. Due to the fluidity of the situation, exact figures remain unconfirmed. In early March, humanitarian partners provided food assistance to over 1,600 displaced individuals in Mandalay and Sagaing regions. Despite continued efforts, ongoing hostilities present significant challenges to safely accessing and supporting affected communities.
