Due to the intensity of the typhoon "Ragi" occurred in the South China Sea, heavy rainfall and strong winds are expected in Naypyidaw and 11 other states and regions from September 8 to September 12, lasting for about 5 days.

16-9-2024: : According to the observations at (12:30) hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the West Bengal(India) and adjoining Bangladesh almost stationary still persists. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal .

Flood condition of Dokehtawaddy River

According to the (17:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Dokehtawaddy River at Myinge has exceeded by more than 3 feet (92 cm) above its danger level 28.54 feet (870 cm). may fall from the present water level by about 1 foot during the next 1 day and may remain above its danger level.

Flood conditions of Sittoung River

According to the (17:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Sittoung River at Toungoo has exceeded by about 6 feet (180 cm) above its danger level 19.69*feet (600 cm).
