Program Overview
Within Mozambique, IOM and its partners, PRONANAC and ASMOG, implement site management across 11 districts in Northern Mozambique with support from CERF, UK Aid, and USAID. The program continued transferring sites in southern Cabo Delgado to authorities and communities, reducing its role in site management, including complaints and feedback mechanisms. This quarter, only a few cases were received and addressed in southern Cabo Delgado due to site transfers, with most now coming from northern Cabo Delgado. Cases from Mocímboa da Praia have significantly increased, reflecting enhanced capacity for the complaints and feedback mechanism (CFM). Most feedback in Mocimboa da Praia was gathered through community meetings addressing broader neighborhood issues, leading to a higher number of people reached compared to individual tickets received.
