Health Cluster Update

• 2 Health Cluster coordination meetings convened (1 national & 1 sub-national)
• 1 partner, coordination meeting convened in Mueda district
• 26 October, Protection Cluster mainstreaming workshop, Humanitarian Response Planning (HRP) Workshop
• HeRAMS: WHO Global HC country team presented to the Health Cluster partners the SRH geospatial accessibility modelling reports
• 34 partners continue providing humanitarian support in Cabo Delgado
• 13 assorted emergency medical kits estimated to reach 13,000 people were distributed in crises affected locations

Disease Outbreak

Cholera outbreak ongoing in 2 provinces (CD & Nampula)

• 2 districts are active, Montepuez & Nampula City
• 412 cases / 0 deaths (CFR=0.0%) were reported, as of 30 September 2023

Health Facilities Functionality

• WHO continued to support MOH-SPS to collect data on functionality of health facilities through HeRAMS.
• Accordingly, to the update of the I-HeRAMS platform, 73% (105) of HF are not damaged while 15% (21) are partially damaged and 12% still fully damaged which is a drop from the baseline in which 30 HF were reported as fully damaged. Various health organizations, including UNDP, UNOPS, MSF, ICRC, and Cap Anamur, are collaborating with the government to restore and build many health facilities that have been damaged.
