INTRODUCTION

This report analyzes insights gathered from Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with women from selected business groups, focusing on their roles, challenges, and leadership within their communities. The discussions provide a detailed view of how women navigate income generation, household decision-making, social expectations, and their ambitions for leadership. The report captures women’s reflections and personal experiences, with a focus on understanding the factors that impact their empowerment, leadership potential, and societal roles. The women expressed their thoughts on gender roles, leadership, division of labor, decision-making, livelihood activities, safety, and the inclusion of women with disabilities.
