On April 23rd-24th 2024, the CCCM Team in Mocimboa da Praia (MdP) conducted a community consultation via focus group discussions, which was attended by a total of 72 individuals. The primary objective of this exercise was to gain insight into the experiences of families who have returned to the MdP district headquarters, including their current living conditions, needs, challenges, access to information about humanitarian and development assistance/services and projects, and their participation in decision-making processes concerning humanitarian aid. Additionally, the consultation aimed to comprehend the perceptions of returnee families regarding their awareness of channels for providing feedback or lodging complaints about humanitarian aid in MdP. The information gathered through these discussions will be instrumental in developing tailored AAP (Accountability to Affected People) activities.
