Context
Metuge district government chose this site to host IDPs in July 2021. IOM planned the site to host IDPs from Cuaia in Metuge district. The site residents are from Messange, a village in Quissanga, and Metuge district. Between December 2021 and January 2022, the government relocated IDPs to the site. IOM provided shelter kits to these families. MSF has worked with FIPAG to improve water access.
