I.) INTRODUCTION & CONTEXT
Plan International and Helpcode are jointly implementing a two-year ECHO-funded project focused on Education in Emergencies (EiE) and Child Protection in Cabo Delgado.
As part of the project's framework for Child Protection risk mitigation strategies and mainstreaming GenderBased Violence (GBV) prevention and response, four GBV safety audits were conducted after six months of implementing Child Protection Case Management and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) activities.
These safety audits aim to identify and address GBV risks, particularly those affecting girls in communities where the project is active.
This specific report pertains to the Palma district in Cabo Delgado, specifically focusing on the communities of Nandimba and Manguna.
Helpcode is providing support to the consortium by implementing specific case management and MHPSS activities, ranging from levels 2 to 3, within the selected communities, targeting both children and their families.
