Between 19 and 26 September 2025, escalating attacks by Non-State Armed Groups (NSAGs) triggered new displacements across Cabo Delgado province. In Balama district, 8,268 individuals fled from Monapo village (Mavala posto) to Ntete and Mieze locality. In Mocímboa da Praia district, continued incidents in Bairro 30 de Junho and Felipe Nyusi displaced an estimated 13,274 individuals. In Nangade district, a total of 277 individuals were displaced to Mueda, Macomia, Muidumbe, and Pemba city. Food, shelter, and protection remain the most urgent needs.
