Between 06 and 10 February 2025, escalating attacks and heightened fear of violence by Non-State Armed Groups (NSAGs) in Macomia and Meluco districts led to the displacement of approximately 3,498 individuals (982 households) as of 12 February 2025. This figure includes 1,709 individuals (586 households) who fled Chai in Macomia district between 06 and 08 February, and 1,789 individuals (396 families) who fled Ravia Village in Meluco district on 10 February.
