- Very heavy rainfall and thunderstorms have been affecting southern Morocco, since 17 September, causing floods and severe weather-related incidents that have resulted in casualties and damage.
- According to media reports, as of 19 September, one person died and one have been injured due to lighting and several roads have been flooded, in Tamourt town in Chefchaouen province, in northern Morocco.
- On 20-21 September more rainfall is expected over northern and eastern Morocco.
