Federated States of Micronesia still in state of emergency after Typhoon Maysak

Thousands of people in the Federated States of Micronesia are in desperate need of food, water and shelter after the islands were struck by Super Typhoon Maysak.

The governors of both Chuuk and Yap states have declared a state of emergency after five people were killed and up to 80 percent of homes destroyed when Maysak tore through the islands last week.

The International Federation of Red Cross' Victoria Bannon says recovering from Maysak will be a huge challenge.
