  • On 20 July, a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall, hit the municipality of Chiconcuautla, in the Puebla state in southern Mexico, resulting in casualties and causing damage.
  • According to media reports, as of 21 July, one person died and three people have been injured in the town of Zempoala in the municipality of Chiconcuautla.
  • National and local authorities are assisting the affected population and conducting a risk assessment of the area.
  • On 22-23 July, more rainfall is forecast over Puebla state.
