Situation Report
Flooding today in central Mexico killed at least 14 people after a dam burst in the town of La Ventilla in the state of San Luis Potosi; waters also spilled over a wall in El Capulin in the nearby state of Zacateca. Seventeen people were reported missing.

The incident came after several days of heavy rains; state and federal emergency workers were searching for the missing people and setting up shelters, Reuters reported.
