Download Infographic On 19 september 2017, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck southern Mexico, 12 km southeast of Axochiapan, Morelos, on the boundary of Puebla and Guerrero.
National Civil Protection Protocols and the National Emergencies Committee have been activated. Urban search and rescue activities are still underway.
