MEXICO CITY (June 23) XINHUA - Five more earthquakes jolted Mexico's Pacific coast and the area bordering with Guatemala on Wednesday, but there have been no casualty or damage reported.
The National Seismology Service said the strongest of the five quakes hitting the northern states of Jalisco and Nayarit measured 4.8 on the Richter scale.
Two tremors measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale had their epicenters on the southeast coast of Guerrerro, where an earthquake of 5.8 occurred last Monday leaving at least one person dead and 700 houses damaged.
The states of Oaxaca, Puebla and Guerrerro were also shaken by two strong earthquakes, measuring 6.7 and 5.8 on the Richter scale, on June 15 and Monday respectively.
