- A new tropical cyclone named BHEKI, formed over the southern Indian Ocean, is moving south-west. On 18 November at 6.00 UTC, its centre was located in the sea, approximately 670 km north-east of Rodrigues island, Mauritius with maximum sustained winds of 155 km/h (tropical cyclone).
- BHEKI is forecast to continue south-west, it will pass north of Rodrigues island on 19 November and on 20-21 November it will move very close to Mauritius first as a tropical storm and Reunion after as a tropical depression.
- On 19 November, heavy rainfall and strong winds are expected across Rodrigues island while on 20-21 November heavy rainfall and strong winds are forecast across Mauritius and Reunion.
