Mohammed Bin Rashid EST. distributes Aid on Displaced People in Mali

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian Charity Establishment has distributed food stuff to 1,000 displaced Malians in Bamako and other cities.

The gesture aims to alleviate the displaced people's suffering, in addition to improving their current living conditions.

The move, comes in the light of the directives of the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to provide support to the displaced people in Mali, who fled the ongoing conflict.

Ibrahim Boumelha, Dubai Ruler's Advisor for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment said that due to the traumatic events in North of Mali areas and the large numbers of the displaced people, the Foundation moved to provide urgent assistance to contribute in easing the suffering of the affected people.

The assistance was provided to the affected people in the presence of Minister of Awqaf in the Republic of Mali Dr. Jacob Traore and other Malian officials. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
