Above-average rainfall is expected from August to October. Flooding may occur throughout this period, but the peak is anticipated in August due to corroborated information from hydro-climatic services, which have noted a significant water level since July 26 in the Niger, Senegal and Volta basins. Additionally, peak rainfall is expected in August, based on 2024 weather date and historical trends. Please refer to the technical study from the hydrological service for August.
