China (No update)
As of March 24, there were 41 cases of dengue reported in China for 2015 (19 cases in January and 22 cases in February). Compared with the same period of the previous three years (2012 to 2014), the number of dengue cases reported in China has increased in 2015 (Figure 1)
As of 21 March, there were 30,890 cases of dengue reported in Malaysia for 2015. This is 41% higher compared with the same reporting period of 2014 (n=8,923) (Figure 2). From 15 to 21 march 2015, there were 2,006 cases of dengue reported, 12% less than the same period of the previous week (n=2,275).
From 1 January to 14 March 2015, there were 16,328 cases of dengue, including 41 deaths, reported in the Philippines. This is 3% higher compared with the same reporting period in 2014 (n=15,796). Since week 6 of 2015, the number of dengue cases reported in the Philippines has declined (Figure 3).
Singapore As of 28 March, there were 2,155 cases of dengue reported in Singapore for 2015. From 1 to 28 March 2015, there were 391cases reported, compared with 868 for the same period in 2014 (Figure 4).
