Highlights

  • As of 15 March 2015, 148 cases of cholera were reported by the Ministry of Health, with two deaths.

  • With support from UNICEF, a cumulative population of 111,738 people have now been reached with sanitation services.

  • A total of 653 toilets have been constructed reaching 79,770 people.

  • Cumulative total of 4,561 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition admitted in CMAM.

  • Treatment outcome indicators in therapeutic feeding centres are in consistent with SPHERE standards of >75% recovery rate and <10% mortality rate.

  • 493 pregnant and lactating women received Infant and Young Child Feeding support
