Highlights:
In April, fifteen districts conducted Active Case Finding activities. The results are as follows:

1,131,688 Children under five reached through active case finding campaign while 10,669 children (1,593 with Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and 9,076 with Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) were referred to health facilities for further investigations and admissions in the Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) program.

In April 4,373 children under five suffering from SAM were provided with lifesaving treatment in Outpatient Therapeutic Program (OTP) Centres and Nutrition Rehabilitation Units (NRU).

9,047 children were provided with treatment for Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM).

3,941 malnourished Pregnant and Lactating Women (PLW) were provided with supplementary food at Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) centres.

Post-harvest SMART survey is in progress, results will be released in the second week of June.

Nutrition Cluster Drought Response will continue up to December 2017 as planned in June 2016.
