In November, WFP assisted over 692,423 people through cash-based and in-kind food assistance, distributing 4,480 MT of food and disbursing USD 301,307 for school feeding. The lean season response, launched in October, continued with a monthly target of 560,000 people, combining food assistance with malnutrition prevention for children under 2, as well as pregnant and breastfeeding women and girls. Although planned to run from October–March, current resources will sustain support only until January.
