Continuous monitoring of protection issues is in place, with ongoing collaboration with relevant authorities and stakeholders within Liechtenstein.

HIGHLIGHTS
Contribution to a report on human rights UNHCR contributed to a report published in April by the “Verein für Menschenrechte” (VMR) on human rights in Liechtenstein, which includes sections on asylum and refugees’ rights. UNHCR’s recommendations including ensuring better socioeconomic inclusion for beneficiaries of temporary protection, awareness-raising on human trafficking and adherence to the Convention on the Rights of the Child during asylum procedures for unaccompanied children.
Updated brochures Brochures developed by UNHCR informing on resettlement and statelessness in Switzerland and Liechtenstein were recently updated. Both are available in French and in German.
