The Korean government has decided to increase the amount of humanitarian aid being donated to Libyan refuges by 500,000 dollars. This brings the total amount of aid from Seoul to one million dollars.
The new funds will go to Libya through the World Food Programme (WFP) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, more than 550,000 people have fled Libya for neighboring countries, and some 35,000 others have been internally displaced.
